For sale: 2012 Audi S5

V8 coupe, manual, Prestige + Titanium, white exterior, white interior, many extras!

Hello! I am selling a 2012 Audi S5 with a number of extras. She has only ~11,000 miles on her and those are almost entirely highway miles: two road trips down the west coast and back to Seattle. The car has been well cared for and is basically brand new, so obviously runs great and has nothing wrong. It has never been in any kind of accident.

My car has a number of additional options and improvements. I will talk about the things that makes the car really great as well as what each item cost me, where possible.

4.2L V8 engine
My car is a 2012, which is the last year the Audi S5 will ever have a V8 engine. Not only is it very powerful, but it sounds fantastic! All S5s in subsequent years get a supercharged V6 which, while nice, just doesn't have the same feel and sound to it.

$2298 AEW touring exhaust
This aftermarket exhaust makes the car sound AMAZING. It is not obnoxious in any way. It is a quiet, low purr when driving around normally but when you hit the gas, this exhaust lets you hear the deep growl of the V8. I can't help but smile every time I hear it!
AWE exhaust

$107 3.5" exhaust tips
The tips on the AEW exhaust are adjustable, but a bit flimsy and didn't look too nice. These do.

Exhaust tips

Pearl silver leather
This makes the car very unique, very few S5s have this leather. The pearl silver leather looks white in person. With the titanium package, almost everything inside the car is black: all of the dash, even the headliner. The white leather really stands out and makes the interior really impressive. Keeping it a clean is more than worth how striking it looks. What you do is clean, condition, and protect the leather, then every 2-3 weeks just wipe it down to remove dirt on top of the leather protectant.

$2256 Piano black interior trim
This is the piano black trim from the Audi RS5 around the gauges, instead of the stock gray plastic. It also has custom ordered, factory S5 piano black around the shifter, in both doors, and in the rear armrests. With the white leather, it looks amazing!

Also has RS5 door handles:

Titanium package
This package is no longer an option for 2013 S5s (and possibly later years) making my car even more unique. It addds 19x9.0" dark colored rims, black window surrounds (instead of chrome), a black front grill surround, and black interior headliner. These dark pieces make great contrast with the white paint and white leather!

Prestige package
This is the best package offered for the S5. It adds active headlights (they turn into corners), side assist radar (side mirrors blink when someone is in your blind spot), leather door trim, MMI navigation plus, Bang & Olufsen speakers, keyless entry (open the door without taking the key from your pocket). The only S5 options my car doesn't have is adaptive cruise control and adaptive damping suspension (air bags).

$1100 Sports rear differential package
The Audi S5 is all wheel drive and can adjust torque front/back to keep traction in turns. This package allows the car to also adjust torque left/right for the rear wheels. I've only ever driven my S5 with this package, so I can't compare to not having it, but I can say that my car feels like it is on train tracks going around corners!
Sport Differential

$2513 Xpel self healing clear bra
This is a clear plastic that covers the entire hood, front fenders, mirrors, door handles, and rear bumper top. It helps protect from rocks and door dings. It is self healing, so if it is scratched by someone brushing up against the car or during washing, the scratches will go away by themselves (super cool!). The clear bra was put on when the car was new and can be removed at any time. Applied by Metropolitan Detail in Bellevue (go there for a demo of the self healing material).
Metropolitan Detail

$478 tint, 35% 3M Color Stable
This is high quality tint, professionally applied by Metropolitan Detail in Bellevue and won't change colors. It is legal and not too dark. Looks great with the white exterior and Titanium package.

$943 Auto folding mirrors
These are only available on S5s in Europe. I ordered the parts (all original Audi parts) and installed myself, works great. I enabled the mirrors in the car's computer so they fold automatically when the car is locked and unfold when the car is started, which looks super cool. The mirrors are body colored, not silver. Here she is with the mirrors folded:

$1830 Beltronics STi-R Plus, dual Laser Interceptors
The Beltronics STi-R Plus is a radar detector -- the best radar detector, ever. It has GPS and automatically learns where the false alarms are (eg from supermarket doors). It uses the GPS to warn you about red light cameras and speed traps. It also is fantastic at detecting radar, often it will warn you 1-2 miles before you even see the cop! It is great just to increase situational awareness, it doesn't mean you plan to go around speeding. The Laser Interceptors will block (in the front of the car only) the laser guns the cops use (this is perfectly legal in WA state). Everything is custom installed and integrated into the car. The radar and LI sensors in the front grill can hardly be seen. The STi-R display is inside the rearview mirror, behind the glass!
Rearview:

You can see it matches the stock compass perfectly. When turned off, you can't see the STi-R display at all, just a mirror.

$300 JHM "solid" short throw shifter
This makes shifting smoother and faster. The stock shifter feels sticky compared to this.
JHM

$267 HR spacers 15DR/25DRA, 10 14x1.5x43mm ball seat bolts
The stock rims are tucked way under the fender. These spacers bring them out flush with the fender and give the car a wider, more aggressive look. They also improve handling slightly.

$197 JL 10W1V2-8 subwoofer and Dynamat Xtreme
This is a 10" JL subwoofer that replaced the stock woofer in the rear deck behind the rear seats, so it doesn't take up trunk space with a big box. It adds stronger bass compared to the stock subwoofer, though it is NOT going to rattle the windows in people's homes as you drive by (this is a good thing). The Dynamat Xtreme strengthens the rear deck, improving the sound and making the car quieter when the radio is off.

After:

$113 Audi rubber floor mats
Made for this car, they clip in so they won't slide. A must have for Seattle weather!

$111 Audi grocery bag hooks, trunk side net, valve stems
No idea why these hooks don't come by default, but they are great little hooks in the trunk so you can hook bags and not have everything slide around. The side net lets you make use of the cubby hole there. The valves stems just look nice.

$91 AWE S-Flo filter
More air for the engine.
AWE filter

$161 LEDs, all interior, footwell lights, license plate
This replaces the yellowish interior incandescent bulbs with much better looking LEDs.

The extras above add up to $12,765 (not including the time and effort they took).
